ConceptPlumbing · emergency call-outs

Manchester Plumbing

An emergency plumber's site drawn in sparks and rain: a stopcock, a P-trap and a plunger rendered as particle scenes, seven layers of parallax, one cyan neon for the phone number.

Built for a Manchester partner; goes live once their reviews, Gas Safe number and legal details are in.

The project

Every emergency plumber's site looks the same: a van photo, a blue and orange template, a phone number. This one is built around the night call-out itself. The hero is a stopcock drawn from thousands of drifting embers in the rain, standing on a waterline that reflects it; the P-trap in the booking section drips, the plunger by the FAQ blows bubbles, and the footer spells the city in the same sparks.

Underneath the show it is a plain, fast lead machine: the call-out price is stated before the phone rings, WhatsApp takes a photo of the fault for a quote, and the call-back form writes straight to a database with bot filtering. Copy stays honest: nothing on the page promises what the partner cannot do.

What's inside
  • Four particle scenes on Canvas 2D from one engine: stopcock, P-trap, plunger and the MANCHESTER wordmark
  • Seven parallax planes on scroll and pointer: far rain, scene, water with ripples and splashes, copy, neon UI, near rain, drops on the glass
  • Torch that follows the cursor, storm flash, optional rain sound
  • Live call-back form with honeypot, timing and rate limits, stored in Supabase
  • Fixed-price service board, three-step process, credential card, areas, FAQ
